Tiffany

TN - 2015

My name is Sherry. I wanted to give you a little history about myself and tell you about my awesome Yorkie named Tiffany. I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee but twenty years ago I moved to Florida. I raised a son and I am currently single.

In Florida I worked in the Accounting world for approximately twenty six years. I had a herniated disc in my neck in 2006 and had to have surgery. I really never got over that and then in 2012 I was in a very serious car accident. A lady ran a red light and my life has never been the same. I have approximately 8-10 broken bones, a slipped disc, and several other problems.

It got to the point where I couldn't take care of myself very well and ended up moving back home to Nashville in April 2014 to be near my family. Even today that wreck still impacts my life.

Tiffany is the love of my life next to my son. She is the sweetest most loyal doggie you could ever ask for. A friend found Tiffany in 2010 in the middle of a four lane highway in a bad storm. The minute I laid eyes on her I knew she was meant especially for me. We searched and searched for the owners and when no one came forward I was as happy as a kid on Christmas morning. I knew she was officially mine. But, after we moved back to Nashville Tiffany started getting really sick. I took her to the vet and they said she was in congestive heart failure and also had a heart murmur.. They said basically without the medicines she would not live long. And with the medicine I may get to have her a year or longer.

So, I immediately put her on the medicines. I will admit this has not been fun at all. I have watched the poor thing have seizures and faint quite often.

My parents have been helping me for several years now and I had to search for help on my own or I was going to put them in the poor house. And needless to say I found Brown Dog Foundation. One of the nicest organizations I have ever met. There is no way I can ever thank the people that donate enough for helping Tiffany. I live by myself with Tiffany and she is what keeps me going after all the things I have been through since the wreck. I am sincerely thankful to each and everyone of you for helping me to get Tiffany's medicine for the next several months.

Sincerely,

Sherry & Tiffany
