We Salute the Animals Wine Dinner

This year's third annual traditional Vintners-style Wine Dinner is underwritten by Pet Emergency Treatment Services and Affiliated Veterinary Specialists. The 4-course dinner and silent auction will be held at Stoney River Legendary Steaks located on West End in Nashville, TN. Chrismont is providing a selection of their wines for pairing with a menu created by the Stoney River Team.
The evening will begin at 5:30pm with a Champagne Reception and Silent Auction hosted by Brown Dog CRM Consulting. Dinner will be served at 6:15pm. Four courses of specially created food will be paired with Chrismont's Rosato Mezzanotte, Late Harvest Riesling, Merlot and Cabernet-Merlot.

Top Dog & Cat Competition
A 12-week fundraising campaign, where dogs and cats are nominated by friends to vy for the title of Top Dog & Top Cat. Nominees campaign for votes, each dollar they raise counts as one vote. At the Coronation Pawty, on June 8th, we will announce the winners. Food, drinks, entertainment and a silent auction item make this the 'Pawty of the Summer' - don't miss out!

Annual Wine Dinner Gala
Brown Dog Foundation's Board of Directors will host our 2nd Annual Wine Dinner Gala attended by Vintner's from Dunham Cellar, Mike and Joanne Dunham. A three-course dinner with complimenting wines from this vineyard will be featured. A Live Auction, Introduction of our Founder's Society and a brief Awards Presentation will complete the evening. Tickets may be purchased below - $60/person, $100/person to sit with the Vintners. The event will be held at Stoney River Legendary Steaks at 3015 West End Avenue in Nashville, TN. Hikes Across TN
This fun and family-oriented 5.5k Walk will be held throughout Spring, Summer and Fall in locations across Tennessee. Families, friends and businesses are encouraged to register a team, bring their dogs and cats out on leashes and hike in honor of Brown Dog Foundation. Details are still being worked out, but if you would like to serve on the planning committee or register a team, please email us.
Pet Owners nominate their dog or cat to campaign for the Top Dog & Cat Competition. Nominations are accepted via email now until March 15, 2007. At that time, nominees will be given 13 weeks to raise money for Brown Dog Foundation. The Dog and Cat raising the most money will be honored and crowned at a Coronation Party on June 10, 2007. Prizes will be given to each participant raising at least $500. The Top Dog & Cat will receive local recognition and will be featured in a Marketing/Advertising Campaign for Brown Dog Foundation as well as many fun prizes.
The event grossed $5500 and ran 75% net revenue. Approximately 40 people attended and enjoyed music by Suzanna Spring, food by Edibles Catering and tours of The Farm at Natchez Trace. A planning committee is currently being recruited for our 2008 Top Dog & Cat Competition; if interested in volunteering please email carol@browndogfoundation.org.

If you've never been to a Chinese Auction, you do not truly know what you're missing! Buy up to 5 bid paddles for $2/each and then bid on 50 different items for just quarters. It's a great way to get some truly amazing items for mere quarters!
The event will be held at Jumbo Buffet in Madison in the Due West Plaza on Gallatin Road about 20 minutes from the West End Area of Nashville.
This is a great way to donate to Brown Dog Foundation and get something for yourself... for mere pocket change! See you in Madison.
This event raised $567.50 and enjoyed the attendance of 28 supporters - most of which were introduced to Brown Dog Foundation for the first time. Special thanks to Aurora and Chris Daniels for their dedication to our organization!
