We got Nova at eight weeks old. I found her on a Craigslist ad. This was a long time ago when that was more of a thing. The lady that had her was the neighbor of the people that had the dog that was pregnant and the dad and, they passed away while she was pregnant. The neighbor ended up with them.

 

Nova’s been amazing since the very beginning. She’s helped me through multiple deployments when my husband was in the military. My kids love her. She is having surgery for sarcoma on her left elbow. The Doctors say that there is a strong chance of it not coming back so long as it’s all removed. 

At the time Nova was diagnosed, we had some expensive car repair issues arise.
