![]() Meet Miss Goldie Goo Goo Cluster! Can you believe she's 11 years old... everyone in our house looks young - without plastic surgery! Seriously, Miss Goo Goo Cluster pretty much rules the roost - she keeps Toffee in line and often keeps Momma Carol in line too. Goldie's role on the Board of Directors is one of personal gratification - she requires belly rubs and love throughout all meetings or she howls! Goldie joined our family in March, 2007 and we're very thankful! ![]() Goldie's life ended in March, 2010. When we adopted her we were told she wouldn't live 6 months to 1 year. Through a variety of homeopathic therapies, daily exercise, high-quality holistic food, love and companionship, she lived three happy, healthy years. We miss her. Losing her hurt as much as losing Chip, in a way even more. I had the money this time, but her regular doctor wasn't available and the "doctor on duty" misdiagnosed her with a UTI. By the time they figured out what was wrong she was already in shock and having seizures. Goldie was bleeding internally most likely from a ruptured tumor. She could have survived surgery if the diagnosis had been accurate on Saturday. Unfortunately, by Sunday evening, she would not have survived surgery and the decision to let her go peacefully had to be made. Her friends Monica, Laura, Jade and Lindsay were there with us to say good-bye. |
