Carol Runs Wild in Dublin!

Carol Smock has made the commitment... to run the 2009 Dublin, Ireland HALF Marathon!  Carol wants to raise $6,000 to get to Ireland.  The money she raises will be used to create a National Fund for Brown Dog Foundation.

"Okay, seriously...  I don't run!  What am I doing????  What am I thinking????  I am thinking...  this is a great way to lose the chub I've added over the past couple of years...  and, I can drink lots of Guinness in 4 days...  oh, and it's sooooooo green and lush in Ireland...  but, most importantly, I am thinking THIS is how I can make a difference!"

"Despite the fact that I don't run, I am going to do this...  why punish myself you ask?  Because I just learned that there is at least $500,000 of need for  Brown Dog's services across this country every year.  More than 200 family pets were not saved this year because Brown Dog didn't have the resources - I want to change that!  I want to save 20 family pets with the money I raise!"  - Carol Smock

Brown Dog's National Fund will provide life-sustaining medications for family pets when the family is faced wtih a temporary financial crisis.  To donate to Carol's Campaign, please click on the "donate now" button below.
