Miss Belle was very sick and her family just didn't have the money to take her to the Doctor. They reached out to Brown Dog Foundation for help covering the cost of an Initial Veterinary Visit - which we were able to do. It turned out that Belle had cancer and could not be saved. They took her home with some medications to keep her comfortable until it was her time to go. She passed away peacefully at home with her family - exactly what they wanted.
